Our Rooms

Our amenities include luxurious goose down duvets and pillows, soft white cotton linen, fluffy towels, bathrobes, bedroom slippers and hair dryers in all our en suite rooms. All our rooms are fitted with LED flat screen HD TVs, electronic safes, and an iron and ironing board are available on request. Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms. Dog friendly and accessible rooms are also available.

This is an old lodge that has been renovated. Each room has a distinct character and pictures are for representation purposes only. Certain features may vary from room to room.

Country Lodge Rooms

The Scottish Highlands-styled rooms are inspired by the surroundings, with accents of tartan, oak floors, and wall panelling. The charming rooms make you feel like you are in a Highland home.

Deluxe Country Lodge Rooms

Individually styled rooms inspired by the Scottish Highlands facing the lush green hills. Some rooms have inviting gas fireplaces and antique pieces of furniture for a nostalgic ambience

Luxury Loch View Rooms

Pine forests and glistening lochs are the scenic views that will greet you in these dark wood with tartan and plaid rooms. Snuggle up by the Victorian tiled fireplaces of this inviting Highland retreat.

Family Room

A whimsical two bedroom suite adjoined by a cosy corridor, the family room is furnished in soothing shades of soft blue plaid and has wrought iron beds. It’s an ideal setting to relax in after an adventurous day of discovering the Highlands.

The spacious rooms have a desk and a cosy seating area with a pull-out bed, which is ideal for a family.

Luxury Spa Rooms

Our spa rooms reflect the picturesque views of the loch with hues of cream and pale blue for a calm, serene ambience. Situated on the banks of Loch Lochy, the rooms give a spacious feel, especially when on the patio admiring the striking scenery.

Robert Burns Room

A tribute to Scotland’s national poet, the interior of this room reflects his humble rustic lifestyle with warm beige and brown colours, a four-poster bed, oak flooring, and vintage dark wood furniture. The room has a large en suite bathroom with a shower and a bathtub and a separate seating area with a pull-out sofa that allows for beautiful hill-facing views through the large windows.

Mary Queen of Scots Suite

This grand suite pays homage to the famous Queen of Scots. The Scottish blue drapery, antique furniture, canopy four-poster bed, carved wooden dining table and cosy seating area in front of a marble fireplace will take you back in time to the 16th century.

Individually designed with its own unique style, the room is luxurious and spacious with a king-size bed, a dining and seating area and a large en suite bathroom that has both a tub and a shower.

The room also has a glass balcony where one can relax and unwind, whilst enjoying stunning, uninterrupted views of the loch, mountains and pine forests.

Accessible Rooms

At Black Sheep Hotels, we understand that every customer has different needs and we aim to make our hotel facilities and accessible to all our guests equally. In instances where this is not possible, we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative. Facilities include a ramp at the entrance, accessible rooms and dining facilities and reserved parking at the main entrance.

Dog Friendly

Dogs are always welcome at the Black Sheep Hotels and all our hotels have dog-friendly rooms. However, we acknowledge that we have other guests and would appreciate if the established guidelines are followed. We thank you for your cooperation.
